Dave. One of two things. Most likely is a caliper piston sticking. Drive a bit without braking and then jump out and place your hand on the brake. The hot one is where the trouble is. The other possibility is that a hose has collapsed internally creating a one way valve and keeping the brake applied. If you open the bleed screw on a caliper and get a spurt of fluid then you have a pressure build up. Otherwise it is a sticking piston. Remove the caliper and use the brake pedal to force the piston out, The piston will be very hard to remove once you disconnect the hydraulics from it. Good Luck Don |
