They either completely misquote you, or pick and choose words you actually
said, but in a different order, or with other words added. Most reporters
have their own agenda, and will skew and spin whatever you said into whatever
their story is about. (Note I said MOST....John Sheally, if you're reading
this, present company is excluded of course). Morgan might actually have
said "We don't need {a disagreement with our distributors in} the US. {The
law requiring side marker lights is silly}. It could go away tomorrow and we
wouldn't notice it."
I've had more editing than this done to statements of mine.......
