In the village where I live resides a rare Morgan-beast, a real low line
+4 Super Sports, still with the original 42 DCOE Weber carbs. At present
this beast is undergoing a ground up restoration, in order to make it
into the most beautiful Morgan on earth!

The engine is being rebuilt, some body parts need to be replaced, as
does the chassis, but there can be no doubt about the fact that this
Morgan will be better than new, once finished. With a little luck that
will be before the turn of the millennium!

Basically, the history of the car is known. It was sold new by Fergus
Fine Cars in New York, as a Red car with Stone leather. So far just 4
people have had this rare Moggie in their possession. The name and
(old) address of the first owner are still unknown, sadly. The second
owner was one Dale Fleet from Pontiac, Michigan. The third owner in
Texas sold the car last year to my friend. It then appeared in two tone
guise (brown & beige).

Does anybody happen to know:
-the name and old/current address of the first owner.
-the current address of Dale Fleet. Apparently he bought a sail boat
with the funds raised by selling the Morgan, set off to uncertain shores
and found his wife so unlucky to pass away during the adventure.
-when the car was resprayed from Red to Brown/beige?
-know of any events where the car turned up or have pictures of/articles
about the car in former years?

Messages are welcome on above e-mail address. Any pictures, magazines,
cuttings, or whatever are welcome at: Het Veer 129, 1633 HD AVENHORN,
Holland, Telephone (0)229 542650. Payment of expenses is no problem.
Thanks a lot in advance for any tiny bit.
