Refer to: "Original Morgan" by Worrall and Turner, page 81 in my
copy. The caption reads "Morgan bought up unused stock of Rostyle
wheels made by Lemmerz in Germany for VW and offered them as standard
equipment for 4/4s." The text mentions that these wheels were used on
various models of export Beetles.
You might also talk with Morgan east coast 4/4 vintage racers. Some,
I forget names, are running with these wheels (from VWs) with spacers
to adjust the offset. The spacers looked to be about 3/4 inch thick.
