Did you get your car from Bob Nogueira?  He and I were discussing
side curtains several months ago, and he told me he used a piece
of Al. for the bottom part.  I was contemplating that but I had
some 1/8" plywood so I used that and epoxied it.  

You're right about the naughide.  My dad has an industrial sewing
machine and tried to sew the naughide but we didn't like the way
it was turning out so we had a upholster do it.  I think it cost 
us about $50-75 to have them sew the 2 windows.

Don't know if you have a buffer or not.  But my Al. frames were 
pretty badly scratched and nicked.  I sanded them with 200 grit
wet to get the bad scratched out, then 400 and 600 git.  Finally
we hit it with the buffer.  Boy do they look sharp now.
