The Chassis Shop racks are made by Woodhaven
Industries under the Stilletto name. They are
available with steel or 7075 alum racks (the
cross-piece connecting the tie-rods is the rack).
Cost is anywhere from $160 to $250. Weight for 11"
r&p is ~2 lbs w/steel rack and ~1 lb w/7075 rack. You
will probably need to make supports to keep the
deflections down.

Dan's Performance has a r&p for about $90 that is ~3.5
lbs. The body is a little wider and it has a cast
body. Th rack is also a little bigger diameter than
the above r&p. We ran one last year for the 1st time
and the deflections weren't too bad.

Hope this helps. The expensive racks are available in
custom ratios and widths. I don't think the Dan's r&p
has much for custom options. Sorry I don't remember
the links, but Chassis Shop can get you Woodhaven's
info, and Dan's is easy to find.

Good Luck,
Brad Jorgenson
