Thanks Paul! That was what I expected just want to be sure before buying
one. From my set I have tried 1  1/16" and 1 1/4" and of course they
were not matching but I couldn't see if it is because of the wrong size
or for some other reasons.

1 1/8" AF.

FWIW the rear hub nut on the Salisbury/tube type axle is 1 5/16" AF,
same as for the crankshaft pulley nut.  If you use a 1/2" socket drive
then a standard socket should fit inside the wire wheel hub.  If you use
3/4" drive or impact sockets you may need to get a harder to obtain
thin-wall socket.
