Okay SA James,
No the direction is to one person - the purchaser. Thus the "three
dollar bills" can only apply as a singly directed missive and thus means
'three one dollar bills'. The dollar is American, Canadian dollar bills
are prettier I know but that is life. Now get back out to your B and stop
challenging an Englishman about English.
