:)  I modified the 80' B with my information.  I got a 0-60 of 7.3 and a top
speed of 135.

When I said I worked out the gears to a top speed of 165, I never intended
for the car to ever get close to it.  I estimate 120 as a top speed.  I
don't think the ragtop can handle more than that.

It's all about balance and handling.  We took my brothers Porsche 912E up to
115 on a dead highway.  The scary thing is the car felt like it was going
70.  We could have taken it to 130 with no problems.  And that is just with
a 2.2L flat 4.  Can you imagine what a 3.0 flat 6 can do!

Probably one of the most important things to do for high speed travel, is to
have your wheels high speed, on car balanced.  Sears simply cannot do a good
enough job. (Plus I hate the sound of those damn impact wrenches.  You can
never break the lugs loose after that)
