Hi! In 1970 when I was driving both a TC and aTD, a favourite pastime was
spending Sunday afternoon "Going MGing" A friend would join me in his TD and
armed with a long rope we would head off onto the clay roads in the
countryside. These are the unopened roads, and access roads used by the local
farmers to move theit cattle and horses from one farm to another. If we came to
a large puddle, only one of us would proceed. If the first car made it through,
the second would follow. If we failed to proceed, out came the tow rope! It was
a glorious way to spend a few hours on a nice day. Many wonderful scenes were
observed, and there was little traffic! Ric.
