The few duo-tone red cars I've seen seemed to have the piping in the darker
red.
As for a source, any good upholstery guy could make this for you as it is
just vinyl sewn around a cord. With my car I just found some to match my
paint
and had it made. I would say the finished thickness is around 5/16".
