No, the plate is no longer there. The screws are, but the plate is missing. 

The micro adjuster is NOT the same as the TC. I have one of those too, but
the two are different. The only major difference I can see is that the TC
adjuster has a tab extending out from the bottom plate and then bends
downward. This is where the mounting screw holds the whole assembly to the
engine block. The mounting screw goes in horizontally.

On the TA adjuster that I apparently have on the PB, the mounting screw goes
into the hole on the top of the distributor collar which in turn is screwed
to the block. In other words, there is no long tab from the base plate, only
a short tab and the mounting screw goes in vertically.

Maybe I should send pictures, as I don't think that explanation was all that
clear.

Lew, just curious, is the plate still on your distributor telling the date, 
model, etc? Would be interesting to compare to mine and others I have at the

shop. And is your micro adjuster the same as TC? I wonder if the model 
numbers are different on P dizzy's with/without the adjuster?
