A past member of The Minnesota MG T Register - Bill Pletsch - used to
own a PB painted in those colors. Quite a striking combination. That car
is now in the hands of Keith Burry in the UK. I don't recall whether the
bonnet was two-tone as well, but I don't think so.

My question is...
Seem like in my readings I though I learned ... in the early and
mid-30s,
Midgets with duotone paint jobs were wings always in the darker color,
the
remainder of the body in the lighter. Magnettes, however, also had the
top
portion of the bonnet in the darker color.
However, I have seen numerous wonderful examples of PA/B with the darker
bonnet scheme. I understand that 1. You could (for a price) have any
color
combo you wanted, 2. I can paint however it makes me pleased. My intent
is to
paint it as it came from the factory as best we can tell.
Hs anyone seen/or owned a duotone Carmine/Saratoga Red? I've seen a
number of
the Ulster/Dublin Green and the Oxford/Cambridge blue, but the only
complete
duotone red PA I've ever seen was in Vol. 22, MG Magazine, spring, 1986
and
the bonnet was not painted.
