Larry,
Have just measured my NB firewall and it's 3/8".
I am 99.9% sure that it is the original - I've owned NA0895 (2-seater)
since 1974 and the firewall consists of ancient but usable plywood
covered on both sides with (originally galvanised) steel sheet.
