Thanks for the ideas regarding "Handling on the salt." Guess I
neglected to identify the car in question- Its a door slammer with a
wide track and a short wheelbase that runs in the 235mph range. As
Doug pointed out, a lot depends on the nature of the car, but any
info relating to experiences with various rear end configurations is
interesting and educational. There may not be a definitive answer but
some systems seem work better under certain conditions than others,
and that is useful information.
