Ed you missed the point that the water tank itself isn't pressurized... it's 
open to the environment...  So steam pressure can't develop against a relief 
valve cause there isn't one....

Mine has a 1" open tube that is vented around the tank and then to the back 
of the car...  kind of like a tip over tube on a gas tank....

The whole point here is that you can have Pressure in the radiator... and 
allow it to go above 190.. which if it does the water then evapolates out 
the tube... could be in the form of steam... but not much and there's no way 
for it to become pressurized.

Keith ( and yeah I've seen high pressure steam before... it's kind of like 
what they used to use in Locomotives.... )
