I need a history lesson. I just got a '57 ? Elva in the shop to restore
the chassis, suspension & body. It is a CanAM style rear engine car.
>From what I was told, it is the first & only alumunium bodied Elva,
molds were taken off of it and all of the rest of those built were
fiberglass. The car has been raced thruout Europe & US and qualifies to
be taken to Pebble Beach show when finished...GOOD PROJECT $$$$.

Where were they built, how many years & what engine/transaxle did they
use?

My bet is that John Goodman and/or Dave Dahlgren could answer this???
Anybody else?

joe
