In this same vane-- drag bike champ Angelle Savoie's tuner is apparently
using a wet-sump system on her big Suzi 2-valve 4-cyl. However, he uses a
big electric vacuum pump to scavange the crankcase, claiming an extra 10 HP
for "25 inches of vacuum". (Note that he doesn't say whether this is 25
inches of mercury, H2O, or BS.) Anyway, that 10 hp out of the total 305hp--
or about a 3% gain over the un-sucked engine. You can get these pumps (for
bikes) from Schnitzracing.com.
