Bob, take him up on the offer. Do not take a
hacksaw, torch or cutoff disc to that car until
you read all the rules. "Un-cutting" something
is a lot harder than cutting it. Once you get
the 2000 book, take a look at landracing.com.
Jon has posted significant wording in the changes
which describes limitations on how to make the
cut to extend the wheelbase.
