Folks,
We have decided to put a Ford 9" under the rear of the 85 Vette for running
in D/GT... I am not quite sure HOW yet, but we are committed to going there.
I have an option to buy EITHER a posi unit or a non-posi unit from a guy in
Portland, OR that has a couple of both available (both are 28 spline). I
am assuming that I DEFINITELY WANT the POSI unit. Is there any reason that
logic is faulty?
Should I be concerned about full / semi floating in this application?
Also, since I expect to be running a T-10 trans, I am looking at a couple
of starting' gear ratio sets in the low 3's. Do they seem reasonable.
