Robert Whitehead's book of period Ardun literature also contains an
article from "Hotrod Parts Illustrated" magazine of January 1966
entitled "Hemi Head Chevy Engine" (p.16). Said article is very
comprehensive and well illustrated, showing the 301 inch engine on
Isky's dyno, where it produced 638 HP at 7200 RPM on alcohol with a 6-71
blower on May 4, 1965. A Vertex mag was used and the blower driven 1-1.

The aluminum head layout shows a great deal of influence from the Ardun,
as well as the Chrysler hemi. Mr. Lyons is described as an electrician
from San Bernardino, CA, who had worked on his project for nine years
and had $51K into it. At the time of the article sets were being
offered for $1997. Since little was ever heard about these heads,
however, I imagine very few were made. ArdunBill in the Great Dismal
Swamp.
