Hey Dick....just a word from a "newby" on line (here only since last
week...)but an "ol'farty" when it comes to cars. If I wuz innyer shoes,
I'd be gettin' ahold of the National Ply/Do or mopar club and find a sage in
it who really knows them ol' hunks o' iron and ask him to look over the
photos you provide him (or her...sorry!)with. I bet you could get an answer
pronto. By the sound of it, I think you oughta be able to put sompin'
ta'gether ta fit inta "Street Roadster". After all, WHAT IS a street
roadster? Every one is pretty much hand built as to the owner/builders
wishes right?
I been upset for years that my chopped n' channeled'31 Foad COU'PE
won't qualify as a "street roadster" jus' 'cause its got a top! Oh yeah,
and I did'nt put fenners onnit either. ....but I could. Sure would too if
I could run in a vintage body class instead of facin' alla them newfangled
'maro's an' firebirds an'such in Gas Coupe where SCTA would most likely put
me. Yah right; can'ya just see a barndoor A-bone coupe goin' what is it?
227? Th' moon's made outta green cheese too. But that's OK my dream has
allas been to run Bonnie an' I won't really care how fast as long as its
the best I can do. That's what its all about..Isn't it? That and the
lifelong friends we make. AMEN, brother.
annyway I've been followin' you delimma with interest and thought I'd put my
two cents in just to stir things up. Don't mind me, I'm just a Hot Rodder.

chopped n' channeled '31 Foad Coupe (332"-327 power at present..)

on its sides as seen all over the pits at Bonneville 50)
