Yes, that is my understanding too. But according to my machine shop they do end
up taking a couple of thousandths off the top of the journal. A couple of thou
is within tolerance, but now weâ??re talking four thou or so, having to do it
twice. Getting a bit out of lineâ?¦.
They did say that if I had a bell housing that would unbolt from the gearbox
they could â??dial it inâ?? with offset dowel pinsâ?¦.
But alas I donâ??t have such a bell housing kicking around.
