FWIW, the smart guys run an oil cooler and oil pump. Synthetic works great=
up to a point. Then kerblammo.

We have experience with this on the Tx endurance TR6 car. Anything over a =
30-45 sprint race and you need to be running full synthetic gear oil. If no=
