The Wix 51516 that I buy from Moss Motors is made in Mexico.=C2=A0 The Napa=
Gold 1516 supposedly made by Wix is also make in Mexico.=C2=A0 I used to b=
e in the oil filter business.=C2=A0 The country of origin has to be on the =
product.=C2=A0=C2=A0
Oil filters are made in many countries.=C2=A0 My son-in-law bought an oil f=
ilter for his Porsche Cayenne from Autozone that was make in South Korea.=
=C2=A0 They should be made my Mann or Malhe, etc.=C2=A0 I bought a 5/16 in =
universal fuel filter once made in Russia of all places.=C2=A0 I used to se=
ll fuel filters made in Israel.=C2=A0 Check the country of origin when buyi=
ng all automotive products and then make your determination as to if you wa=
nt to buy them or not.

I was talking with someone about this and who knows where the story came fr=
om, or accuracy, but the net net was they are allegedly now made in China a=
nd when cut away, no longer the same quality as in the past.
Fact or Fiction?? anybody know? and what are you=C2=A0using?
