As far I know about the K-Cup it is not the car which cross the finish =
first is the K-Cup winner, it is the car with =E2=80=9Cout of class =
performance=E2=80=9D who wins.

A TR8 on slicks is a disadvantage to win. Too much power, too wide =
track, too modern design.

If I would chose a car to win the K-Cup, it would be a 1.1L Spitfire on =
TD tires :), a underpowered car, driven like stolen.

Its good news that we have nearly 40 cars registered for the Kastner Cup =
this year (39 as of today). But it would be great to be at 40 or more =
for the 20th Kastner Cup!=20

I wanted to share news about tires that may have impacted some of our =
group that typically run on slick tires. PVGP has modified the "no =
slicks" rule for Triumphs. You can run grooved slick tires in the =
Kastner Cup. You can also run these tires in the regular run groups, =
but you will not be eligible for any awards for podium recognition. For =
those that don't have tire options this will certainly help. =20

So if you're on the fence about attending this year for whatever reason, =
please consider joining a huge 20th Kastner Cup at Pitt Race. =20
=20
Regular entry fee is $595, plus $50 for the Kastner Cup. After July 1, =
the fee goes up to $645, so act now!=20
