Yes it does. I upgraded a 72 MKV Spitfire to a swing spring set up. Changes
included the axles from a 1500, longer (flex) brake lines (upgraded to
braided while I was there). I also had to make an adapter, IIRC, it was a
3/4" -1" D ring, to extend the parking brake cable. The car already had a
3.89 diff with the 4 stud vs 6 stud spring retainer on top.
My son seems to like the way it handles, the race spit has spoiled me on
street cars and cornering.
