Standard lead acid batteries don=E2=80=99t like vibration much. =
Fortunately our Triumphs are vibration-free. And yes, they don=E2=80=99t =
live long if they are routinely discharged to less than 50% of =
=E2=80=9Ccapacity=E2=80=9D. People get remarkably heated about decisions =
they=E2=80=99ve made about one chemistry or another. I shared some of my =
experiments on an Airstream forum and it=E2=80=99s a good thing it was =
online or I might have been lynched. I=E2=80=99m building a Tesla-based =
battery pack for Fritz, my remarkably stupid GMC Motor home project. =
Very spooky chemistry unless it=E2=80=99s very well controlled, and then =
it=E2=80=99s awesome. Charge to 4.15 volts per cell and it=E2=80=99s =
fine, charge to 4.2V and it catches fire and explodes. So yeah, don=E2=80=99=
t do that. Don=E2=80=99t drop matches into fuel tanks either.=20
No relevance to racing TR=E2=80=99s though.=20
