Then I started hearing RX-7 Rotary Mazda racers searching for the right differential ratio so that they do not have to shift as much. Maybe rotary engines are different animals. I have recently cut back on some of the shifting that I use to do, since it seemed that the last few years I was loosing speed by bumbling through the gear box. Of course I am not a very good example.
