I sure agree with this. This was one of our gremlins a few years ago.
Holley offers two basic fuel pumps, and the low end of one is right about the
high
end of a maximum ideal fuel pressure...especially for SUs. It was nearly
impossible to 'adjust' it to that low end of the pump's pressure. We replaced
it
with the lower pressure pump. I run about 1 1/2 pounds of pressure now, and
it seems to work fine.
