Aha!  After I sent the note, I got to thinking about how little I know
about Saabs, but I did remember some FOT person actually had one or two,
breifly discussed at a VTR autocross or some such, and I was trying to
remember who it was.

So ignore whatever I said about Saabs, listen to Jack B. instead.

Or if so inclined, one could try going to http://www.team.net/archive/triumphs
and searching for, say, tr7;saab and see if anything comes up from past
discussions there.
