Well, it should be no more trouble than putting any engine designed for a transverse, front drive application into a longitudianl rear drive application. As I recall, SAAB only did some minor things, like redo the head, the distributor drive, the oil pump, reversed the direction of rotation and such. I vaguely recall this subject coming up years ago on the Brit car list. mjb. |
