<PRE>Bill's correct...it is the later model 260/280 you want to scrounge for.
Besides, you won't find many 240Z as they've all been plucked to become "low
mileage, originals".

It is 260/280Z drums. the 240 did not come with finned drums to my knowledge.
Also.... in the 260 range it was on the 2+2 which had bigger brakes than the
standard coupe. In 280's all had them including standard.
Almost all I have gotten...including those used by Paul and Mordy came from
260's. Maybe there are just more of them in the yards.
As far as measuring.... I made a rod with a ball on the end which is the max
diamtere for a good drum at life end, If the rod goes in it cannot be turned
again. If it doesn't fit it has meat to be turned. A GO or NO-GO gage in my
trade.
Just fyi.
Sure hope I get to see you guys yet this year. By the way....outstanding
showing in the mid west. We know who cleaned who's clock don't we. Amazing
how little chat/press the california guys got in the FOT room.
