Perhaps, Marc, but the usual MO seems to be people taking perfectly 
serviceable OEM brakes, round-filing them, and replacing with [pick your 
poison], "in search of..."  what, exactly, I'm not certain.

As I mentioned to another list member, the funniest thing I've seen 
recently on the general topic of "my brakes are bigger than your brakes" 
was at a local car show, where in the "Ricer" pavilion, there was one 
guy who had "done" his calipers and hand-lettered that most impressive 
of braking brand names -- "Bimbo".....  Ouch.  I'm sure he meant, well, 
you know.
