15 minutes runtime isn't enough time to recharge a flat battery and you
should NEVER use your alternator to charge a dead battery on ANY car. On
your roadster, .it overstresses the alternator and puts more current one
your 37 year old wiring is normally used to. Do yourself a huge favor and
buy an inexpensive battery charger to do your charging. If you aren't
gonna be driving your roadster, disconnect the battery... your clock
continues to run and will run down the battery.. Good luck!!
