windshield corner rust problem 69 2000

Hello all again,

i am sure some of you have fixed this problem on the later models,?????
after  you remove a late model windshield and check the frame, the bottom
corners of the frame have a hole where water tends to seep down through the
gasket into the frame factory welded support and remains there to rust.

both of my cars had this problem , some not as bad,,  what is the best
permanent fix,,
just seal the frame corner for good????
