If you check an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) one of the primary
ingredients in WD-40 is 'Stoddard solvent' usually known as Varsol, itself a
trademark name of Esso(Canada) / Exxon.

Definitely petroleum based though mildly toxic according to the sheet.

Roadster content- I use Lloyd's Moovit (and heat) for rust penetrant the car
is coming together
