Hi Rich and list,
if the bearing is trashed and to be replaced, just cut it off with an
angle grinder.
You will be able to get the outer race off easily.
Carefully cut the inner race with the cutting blade parallel to the
axle shaft
Even if you dont't cut it all the way through, what is left is easily
broken with a cold chisel.

 Well, thanks for the info. got the Axle out and found a dry bearing,
now the
problem is getting the dang thing off. Tried my 12 ton press, but all
I got
was a bent backing plate (darts). Have used the press on Early Vair
axle
bearing with no problem. Any fast easy way to get it off. Will try a
shop this
weekend if I have time.
