I'm a complete dumbass aka alternator wire extension

Allen,
If you are not against removing the tape on your wiring loom.
You need to SHORTEN the wires from the Voltage regulator to the Alternator and
Lengthen the Large White wire.
Make sure you use the correct wire size.  IMHO,You might want to install a
fuse (35-50 amp) as this (the Alternator) is one of the places that short and
burn the wiring.
