Actually I liked the idea of a short extension harness. I never liked cutting
and splicing unless it was necessary.

But it does remind me of a joke thing they did in Car and Driver a bunch of
years ago. Picture of two guys working on a car, with word balloons drawn in.
Guy #1: "These bolts are too short."
Guy #2: "Use longer nuts."
