Thanks for the vote of confidence! ;)

Here's some pics of some needles that I posted a couple years ago. I need to 
update it and make a couple corrections.

Last time I bought needles from a vendor, I got the matching jets with them. 
That seems the best way to be sure they'll work, rather than guessing as to what
size jets are in your carbs.

I never realized that there are different diameter nozzles for the 
roadsters.  I assumed they were all the same and that the needle profile was 
the only variable.  If that needle is supposed to run in a smaller jet, that 
would explain the unexpected richness.  Fred may not be such a novice after 
all.
