Well,
I have stated a couple of times that my 70 1600 was up for sale.
stupid, stupid, stupid, I even put it up on steve allen's site.
well I wish to retract it all at the risk of losing face or being
called a flake.
First off, it is a great car, not show quality, but great nontheless.
It is very close to being a really great car.
we have gotten very close in the last year, she has taken me many
places. I've bought her expensive gifts, dressed her up and driven the
crap out of her. she hardly ever complains... and when she does uncle
Victor comes over and helps me calm her down. sooner or later she
starts purring again.
I figure I might get 2500 in todays market... the money would be gone
in a minute....the roadster would be gone forever.
I'm sure many of you remember the regret of seeing a fairlady drive out
of your life leaving you only holding onto a bit of green paper that
was spoken for before it even hit your pocket.
Better to sell more guitars... that's what I do... then make more and
sell them.
so I'm keeping my roadster! anyone wanna buy a strat???
