Terry has a point here, as Calspeed points out, the west coast has an 
embarrassment of riches event-wise.  Are there any major events east of 
the Mississippi?  And are the folks suggesting Colorado Springs 
suggesting it for a location for the premiere, or the permanent location? 
 It sounds like the ZCCA meet moves around, that sort of approach might 
be the most fair, but more complicated.

And to underscore that there are as many ideas of what this meet should 
be as people thinking about it, when Mike Carion mentioned needing access 
to a track, I realize that hadn't occured to me.  After all, if my 320 
truck were ready, I might take that, and not my stock 1600 roadster.  I 
pictured car shows, swap meets, some sort of road rally or tour, but 
track time hadn't entered my mind.  I can see how that would be a great 
attraction for some.
