Ben,

I guess those of us who have done a ground up on a poor car can identify
with your last suggestion. That's why I said what I did - buy a nice one.
It's much cheaper to spend the $$$$$ upfront than to spend it later.

BTW, did anyone on this list buy that red 701600 on sale on Ebay from CA?
Someone got a sweet car for $5K.
