Brian,
Unless you are very creative do not take off the foam. Buy a PVC overlay
copy from one of our vendor. It fits very well. You glue it with black
silicone and It lasts better then the original. I personally prefer the
black sculptured console as
it gave the cars a more modern look. Just my personal taste.
