Man, wotta buncha wimps! Here you are, braggin' about all the nice drives you've
been takin' in your mild Bay Area weather, and now you're whinin' about heaters!
Why, when I was your age, I drove a WHOLE WINTER up here with NO HEATER AT ALL,
'cause the heater core leaked so bad. Hadda scrape ice off the INSIDE of the
windshield in addition to the outside!

Oops! 'Scuse me. Having a Senior Moment here. ;-)

Actually, a roadster heater will do quite a good job of toasting you out of the
car if everything is working right, but that usually means removing the heater
core and having it boiled out or maybe even rebuilt. Yes, it's a pain to get it
out, but it doesn't have to be done very often.
