Congratulations John!
Many of us know the excitement of the adventure you're experiencing.
Let me say that it's great to know that there are still people like you
around who will gladly drive a newly purchased, 28 year old Lotus Seven
100 miles home to discover all (well, many) of its idiosyncrasies!
Having done this sort of thing many times, and comparing the spectacle
to modern oh so safety conscious society where everything has to be
perfectly risk free, I am truly impressed.
