Faster heat dissipation, colder running.

To answer other people's questions:

If the reach is correct then maybe they will fit the older US heads.

I doubt you'd get any benefit on a standard engine and they may even foul
up.  I think the stanbard NGK plug is a BCP6ES  i.e. one grade softer and
with a projected nose.
