John,
If you drop the suspension to pull the engine, then you will have
to put it back so the guy will still have a whole car. Too much work, I
suspect. Though I have not pulled one in many years, I remember just
following the usual procedure of pulling the transmission, then hoisting
the engine out the top. There may be a bit of a tight squeeze past the
heater ductwork, at least if it is a '61.
