Can anyone verify for me that an engine from a 1992 LandRover Discovery
would be a 3.5 litre. My thought is it'd be a 3.9 especially since its
injected and that means it must be a "stiff-block" as David Hardcastle calls
them. Either way i'm told by the owner it came to New Zealand as a Japanese
Import "wrecker" where the vehicle had been crunched in an accident in
Japan. Insurance couldn't see it as being repairable in labour terms so it
ended up a write-off. i hope to see it today but i'm fooling myself if i can
find NZ$2500 cash, the asking price.
